皆さんもよ～くご存知のサン・テグジュペリ著『星の王子さま』で、キツネが王子さまに教えた秘密。
著者がこの作品でもっとも伝えたかったのが、このセリフでしょう、ね。
考えてみれば確かにそうです。目で見えるものは、この世の”三次元”で私たちがその存在を認識できるもので、それらはすべて”質量がある物質的なもの”ばかりです。
”経済発展”や”勝組に残る”ことが最優先とされた時代を通じで、眼に見える”物質的な豊かさ”が人生の最終目的と信じて疑わない現代人には、「一番大切なことは目には見えない」のなら、いったいどうやって”肝心なもの”を見つければいいのでしょう？
ところで、太陽から発した電磁波のうち人の眼で見えるのは、波長がおおよそ380～780ナノメートルの光（可視光線）とその光が反射したものだけだそうです。ですが、その太陽からのすべての電磁波のうち、可視光線はほんの数％しかなく、大半が不可視光線と聞きました。
それが正しければ、私たちが享受している太陽からの膨大なエネルギー（恵み）は、ほとんどが目には見えないものなのです。
では、この眼には見えない”恵み”を夫婦やカップルの関係に置き換えてみると、光が当る当たらない期間の有無は別にしても(;^ω^)、ふたりで築いてきた人生は、唯一無二の価値あるものではないかと思うのです。
愛するとは互いに見つめあうことではない。 一緒に同じ方向を見つめることだ。 同じザイルに結ばれて、ともに頂上を目指すのでなければ、仲間とは言えない。
